Underground, High Stakes ($100,000+) Poker Games Hosted Weekly in His Palm Beach, FL House?

Is Dr. Michael Saltzburg running high stakes, illegal gambling circles out of his luxury home in West Palm Beach, Florida? It certainly appeared that way to me. The reader or the authorities can draw their own conclusions. This article is based on what I observed, heard, and saw.

I encourage the authorities to do an in-depth investigation. No one should be above the law or the law becomes meaningless. Given that Michael told me he previously planned to murder someone who was bothering him (more on this later), I have made arrangements for these facts to stay online no matter what happens.

As his adopted daughter, I had the misfortune of being in his house while various wealthy businessmen and convicted criminals came in and out of the home during my and my children’s visits for their high dollar poker games. It was an unsavory and toxic environment to have my children in. At least one of the men was noticeably ogling my young teenage daughter. 

The Authorities Can Easily Verify Who Was Coming in And Out of His Gated Mirasol Compound Regularly for the Poker Games

The men who came to his house to play private poker casually mentioned playing with tens of thousands of dollars each hand. At one point, Michael made a phone call to one of his associates in front of me because he had no idea why people had given him checks for $40,000. He also took various sports bets and horse racing bets on a daily basis. 

Mirasol Country Club, the exclusive, gated community where he lived in Palm Beach Gardens, was tightly secured and each person entering had to show ID and name who they were visiting to come in and out of the manned security station.  The games were typically weekly and he also played at other locations during the week that were unknown to me.  The authorities can easily request the visitation records and investigate and interview those people.

It's well known that Michale is an avid Poker player. His "World Series of Poker" profile. More than a hobby, it was his entire identity. The Hendon Mob Poker Database also has a profile on Michael Saltzburg. He was also featured in the Atlantic City Press for his pursuit of poker wins. He also played underground poker for decades for as long as I have known him. Once our mother died, he apparently jumped into the business side of it.

It certainly would be convenient for someone hosting high dollar, underground gambling to secure property that allows people to fly private planes in and out, undetected. Is that why Michael sold the 179 Viera Drive Mirasol property and moved to a new residence with plane access and a more remote location?  Only a thorough investigation will uncover the truth. 

The new property at 18580 Hiller St, Wellington, FL 33414 is far more remote.

Michael Was Planning to "Get Rid of" My Biological Father By Hiring One of His "South Philly Boys"

One of the moments I realized what a truly horrible person my adopted father Michael Saltzburg is, was when he told me he was going to "get rid of" my biological father by hiring one of his "South Philly boys". Michael said my mom stopped him from doing it. Our father was a good person to me and Chris and whatever differences Steve and my mother had, it was just normal legal hassles of going through divorce. 

I never understood why my biological father suddenly disappeared from my older brother's and my lives without a trace. He had been totally regular in visiting with us every other weekend, every other Christmas, two weeks in the summer, etc. since birth. While he was a reserved man, he also went to great lengths to take us boating frequently, water skiing, fishing, crabbing, etc. 

It was truly bizarre that he just suddenly stopped visiting us and never spoke to us again. Chris and I were shocked and never had any explanation. Now I suspect that our biological father knew or suspected that Michael was planning to "get rid of" him if he didn’t disappear from our lives.  With a new wife and a young baby, maybe he decided the risk wasn't worth it. 

This was right after Michael insulted my brother Chris saying, “Look at who his father is.” Of course, I share the biological  father as my brother Chris. The brazen insult did not go unnoticed.

These New Allegations Deserve Serious Investigation

Is Michael profiting millions of dollars off his ultra-wealthy gambling circle? Is it a high-stakes, illegal, off-the-books, private gambling operation? Is there tax evasion going on? Racketeering? There are many angles he could and should be investigated from. He was previously federally investigated for some kind of fraud and got off. 

Personally I despise him for what he did to my mother, her life and her memory. He also took away my children’s and nephews’ college funds right as they turned college aged. My mother was a lifelong educator and those college funds for her grandchildren were so important to her. 

It’s been painful to realize that Michael never cared for any of us, and that our entire family was a lie. My only peace is in fighting for justice for my mother’s life and memory and I will not stop until justice is done. 

"Doc" Michael Saltzburg Is a Proven to Be Dishonest - He Cheated on Our Mother With Countless Women

I could (and plan to) write an entire book about the betrayal that Michael perpetrated against my mother. For decades in their marriage, while pretending to be a faithful husband, Michael paid for sex with countless prostitutes, sex workers and sugar babies. He was in a long term arrangement with a sugar baby "Kelly" for several years before my mom died, secretly giving her hundreds of thousands of dollars of my mom’s money. There also were other women consistently on his payroll, such as Chrissy.

Just two months after our mother tragically died from belated medical care (more on this later), Michael trotted out his baby Kelly with a ridiculous story of how he met her in a casino. No one in the family believed his story and we were all shocked at how soon he was bringing this woman around. Unsurprisingly, Kelly was my age, (25+ years younger than Michael), with obvious plastic surgery.  Everyone was suspicious and hurt by her sudden appearance.

Did Michael Deliberately Delay Medical Care for Our Mother Because He Had a Long Term Sugar Baby (Kelly) Waiting for Him?

My mother was in excellent health before getting an outpatient procedure to remove a superficial melanoma from her arm in July of 2017. She did have a well managed blood clotting condition that required the use of blood thinners. It never made sense to me that she wasn’t medically monitored after having her blood thinners tapered to get this procedure. 

Our parents had more than enough money to pay for care that wasn’t covered under insurance. Yet for three days after the simple procedure that had a few stitches, she was too weak to get out of bed and nothing was done. It wasn’t until she was nearly fainting and demanded an ambulance that any basic tests were conducted. 

Then she was taken by ambulance to a very basic, local beach hospital and they determined her red blood cells were dangerously low and gave her blood transfusions. Given her delicate health history, why didn't Michael immediately have her taken to a Level I trauma center or university hospital? By the time she was eventually transferred and properly diagnosed, it was too late and then she developed septicemia, kidney failure, etc. Days were lost during these delays in care and she would have likely been fine if she had been diagnosed earlier. 

The speed with which he brought the long term sugar baby Kelly around after she died really makes one wonder, since he was in charge of all her medical decisions. 

She also was never given a feeding tube while she was on a ventilator for several weeks and was severely emaciated and malnourished by that point. I’m not a doctor so I don’t know the details, but given his compulsive lying, cheating and obvious contempt for her, it definitely makes one wonder.

Life, Trust, Devotion, Career Accomplishments and Faithfulness to Him 

Michael is a masterful liar and few would have ever suspected the degree that he was living a double life. He said at one point that he feared for his life, and we strongly suspect that it was due to his gambling circles. Our mother never suspected in a million years that he would so brazenly cheat on her and lie to her. She told me personally that trust was everything to her in her relationship with him. 

She left nearly all her estate to him, entrusting him to divide it equally amongst their four children, but unsurprisingly after she died, Michael cut off all contact with my brother Chris and I (his adopted children) in order to give all of her money to our half siblings. 

He Said that Our Mother, His Devoted Wife of 40+ Years,

Died With Nothing (He Claimed Every Penny Was His) 

After my mother's death, I gradually came to understand how much contempt Michael had for our mother and how much he used her. Michael was a penniless loser when he met our mother. She already had a growing career as a NJ school administrator and a beautiful home in Haddonfield, NJ, despite being only in her late 20s.  Michael had nothing but a dream of being rich.

During a recent deposition about our mother's will, Michael was questioned about her roughly $4 million dollar retirement fund. Michael told the court that all the money was his, she died with nothing.

Our mother worked two jobs to put him through medical school and residency (while handling 100% of domestic responsibilities), raised his children, ran his medical practice, made savvy investments, and continued a career of her own up until shortly before she died. It’s hard to put into words the utter disrespect he had for her to say that she died penniless and that everything was his. However, it does explain his behavior of quickly throwing their joint will in the trash after she died, disinheriting his adopted children and taking his non-biological grandchildren's college funds away right as they became old enough to enter college.
